Put on the SPOT!

KidChrisAroundTown here, just wanna tell you if you were at Whataburger for the Pudge Rodriguez autograph signing event, then you know I was put on the spot! DJ Alex saw me preparing to do my live broadcast and all of a sudden he put a mike in my hand and told me to go for it. At first I was confused as to why he handed me a mike but once he told me to turn it on, I realized that once I spoke into this thing everybody would hear. I was nervous because there were like 225 families. So, DJ Alex and my mom persuaded me talk into the mike and overcome my fear of the crowd. My mom told me something that I don't want to forget, she said, "Don't let fear be your failure". DJ Alex told me I have a gift that most people don't use so I'm not supposed to waste it. He told me to be brave and go after what I want. He also talked to me about how his job was all about speaking to people and that his has fun and makes nice money while he's at it. So, DJ Alex introduced me and I'm pretty sure you can tell by now, I was nervous. Here I was coming to just report to you live about Rodriguez being at Whataburger, but DJ Alex actually interviewed me in front of everybody! Which was a total surprise! He even taught me how to use the DJ board! I actually switched from one song to the next!!! Thank you, DJ Alex!
And as if that wasn't enough cool stuff, the Rangers Girls took a picture with me and gave me baseball cards!!!
