Book Junkies Adopt a Christmas Buddy

Hey guys, KidChrisAroundTown here letting you know that the Book Junkies, some of the kids who attended the Mystery Scavenger Hunt at the Mansfield Public Library, my dad's co-workers, and other families that we reached out to, adopted what we call a "Christmas Buddy". To explain, we adopted a single mom and her son and made this Christmas a very special Christmas.
We celebrated the family by having a celebration with homemade cookies, candy, popcorn, and hot cocoa. Her son won't see the gifts until Christmas morning - after Santa has delivered them!
I just want to thank everybody who attended and bought gifts and even if you couldn't attend but you helped I want to thank you, too. The mom was so surprised by all the people who were there and how many gifts she saw when she came in. I think we can call it a success. We are already making plans to for next year's Christmas Buddy adoption. If you want to be a part of it next year, let me know! KidChris signing out!

Son: Pants, shirts, hoodies, coat, shoes, Star Wars legos, trucks, cars, coloring books, more toys.
Mom: Bath and Body works, Itunes, Race Track, Chili's gift cards, clothes, slippers, and jewelry! Thank you everyone!
